bocklin, fladrin, redon, id look for images of it by artists in the 1800s or early 1900s. im assuming more symbolist painters and painters of that time did it as well but i cant say. on the flip side some of the pre-renaissance medieval ones are more “minimal” but thats different

Betsy's manner of speaking is heavy on early 1900s slang, and she has an incredibly heavy Jersey accent.Her design was, in it's initial stage, also influenced by fashion trends from around the 50s. I eventually leaned more into my own aesthetic, which is where she is now.

Ive always been fascinated retro fashion&how it changes over the decades
Also tried make most of them match cartoons that would've came out during their time
