Breakdown of photobashing and painting process. My no1 advice is paint away detail and avoid resizing down photos used in the background, rather do the opposite and use too low Rez photos and blur them so they don’t steal focus

I support using references, doing industry standard smarter not harder techniques (trying to learn photobashing), etc. I might try tracing my own ref soon, but I have an ego problem and like to do the flip canvas a ton thing
