I used way too small a canvas and so the brushes became pixelated and I tried to compensate with thicker lines, this didn't really work. If struggling with this issue, use a bigger canvas. Otherwise I still like this piece.

tbh instead of missing pokemon battle sprites i just miss pixelated menu sprites. not that the clean sprites look worse but the pixel ones are special and nostalgic to me and felt like a beautiful nod to the roots of pokemon that gave menus a unique simple look/charm
