There are subgenres to mecha. Super Robots and Real Robots.

Supers are what you make apparently a majority of mecha out to be.

Reals often are more about mecha being used as weapons of war rather than to save the day.

Dont say shit till you at least got that distinction down.

(2017) Neir Automata is a real banger of the game. Platinum doing good hack and slash games, got both funny robots and people robots. The plots really nice and the areas are somber, quiet and beautiful. I should play the other games in the series and I want to because of this one
