I think the only time I've liked Venom with "eyes" is in Andie Tong's art for the European Spider-Man comics. Here, Venom doesn't have "eyes" per say, the Symbiote is just so tightly wrapped around Brock's face that you can see the outline of them.

Attempted to make a sprite of Rock's design from the Megamix and Gigamix mangas.
Rock's design in them is probably my favourite interpretation of his design in any media, he's so cute but still looks like he could beat your ass in 17 different ways.

Believe me, it's because of certain characters I have that I often find myself practicing accents/dialects when thinking of stuff for them to say.

For instance, Rock's Jersey dialect and the Celtic dialect of the entire Argobold clan.

It bugs me that Brock's Toxin had relatively bland design. Aside from the eyes, he has no cool markings and is all red with an over abundance of tendrils. He should've had a spider symbol to contrast Flash the same way he contrasted Peter.

I mean... I'm not sure I would call these the same design. There were definitely times when Gargan or Flash used Brock's design, but most of the time they didn't.
