Definitely! It's easy to get some flack for being "off-model", but this sprite has been ingrained into our mind for years a certain way, so it makes sense it may look bad if he's "too expressive".

But with enough practice, you may be able to do some pretty good spritework.

Spritework was nice, story was nice, I just felt I didn't love it as much as I should have. I don't think it was too ambitious, even looking at the workload - I just think it wasn't the right time nor the right place.

I've posted before about how much I love old Capcom sprite art but my absolute favorite spriter of all time is... whoever the fuck did the art for games by Success, like the Cotton series or Keeper.

This spritework is up there with Puyo Puyo for me when it comes to charm.
