Oh, and just so people know, I didn't make that smooth on my own. I used subdivisions in Blender to get that smooth look. Here's how it looks without subdivisions.
Well I don't think this is bad for ~15 mins in my lunch break. Tutorial last night only showed me how to make a ~10k tris bowling ball using subdivision modifiers. This is 708 tris.

With the child object selected, you can press the keyboard shortcut “Q” to quickly toggle on & off your Subdivision Surface objects. This tip not only works with the SDS object but with most generator object as well (Extrude, Boole, Cloner, Cloth & more).
Recently stumbled upon Crash's in-game model from the N. Sane trilogy and decided to make it printable! The detail was brought into the geometry by cranking up the subdivisions and feeding the normal maps into a displace modifier - never seen it work so well on a game model! 👍
