Not the style I was aiming for but these dragons are colorful like the ones from Dragon Tales so I understand the comparison. However, some of my main inspirations for my dragons are Akira Toriyama's art and the Spyro franchise. So many great looking dragons there!

You're the best! It's so nice to see new fan art of Tiara! That was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid! I love that you did the dark skinned version of her from Toriyama's art! (that version of her is the best!)

More updates on my Chrono Trigger Robo model. The goal is trying to stay as accurate to Toriyama's original sketches, but geeze, those can be inconsistent as well as far as details.

Idk fucking art or something. Since I have no art on this account except that sad spongebob solo I made in 2 minutes (orange dragon is supposed to be in Akira toriyama's art style) LAST TWO ARE NOT MY OCs but drawing them was fun :)

TBF one reason is that the art is just really good!
The contrast between a cel-shaded character with a beautifully painted BG is very appealing.
Personally, it reminds me of Akira Toriyama's art of characters just.. doing things, with the added bonus of beautiful girls!
