Thanks for your interesting information. The library of National Defense Academy of Japan also has a shipbuilder's model of IJN Kurama. Its most interesting point is that the model doesn't have tripod masts but single leg masts.

Done a heavy weapon platform quad pod and it can be used to be like a tripod for heavier sniper rifles and another use would be this will allow infantry men to use heavier weapons like ones used on mechs
