My name is Ash and I illustrated the webcomic Terra Firma. It can be found on Tapas. I love drawing characters and am currently learning to animate.
Model sheets are created to show a character in its final form so the animators can understand the character to be able to animate it. Some of the model sheets are from the Kenner design team. Others are from the animation team with refining to make them easier to animate.
Changed a foot at the end of drawing. So I made it to animate. can u guess which feet I decided to up at the last😁

@GloriousKronk @nyrorosaurus They knew about the beaks. The reason they were given lips (on top of the beak) is because producers found it easier to animate. Not sure why since we have always had animated birds. Maybe issues with early CG? Here is some concept art from the film w/ beaks.
10. Princess Lauren originally had a bow on her sweater but was switched to buttons after finding the bow was two difficult to animate. Plus Maggie R’s skills improved a ton since the bow was in Lauren’s character design.
Also their outfits were made to be easy to animate. For an example instead of buttons on Lauren’s dress she was originally going to have a bow on her dress. But I found the bow too hard to animate so I switched it with buttons.

Normally, I'd have a lot more little frame crops I could grab to post as teasers, but this time around there's a huge chunk that obviously spoils the the bit I chose to animate.
Guess y'all will have to wait two weeks to find out.
