I think that small changes to the color pallete can really make the design more appealing to the eye

Free form Toys were the most appealing to me because they had more variance of shapes when they aren't constrained by the grid layout

Also, kids never ever leave things in a nice grid after playing with them. This looks like a Toy after a kid has played with it.

Kamala is a shapeshifter with some elastic-like abilities. However her change of powers in the MCU is rooted in how unappealing and non mainstream the powers are for a female character. This is more sad as her unique powers were fundamental to her creation and development.
