Maybe not exactly the aesthetic you are after, but the last couple ArcSys games have ROCKED the cellshading look. GG Strive looks GORGEOUS

I can definitely see the next Arcsys fighter starting each round with the announcer yelling, "SMASH OR PASS, GET JIGGY WITH IT!" or some other kind of nonsense.

That said, I-no is definitely smash.

Sigh, I really wish Capcom had went whatever engine Arcsystems using for Gulity Gear Xign/Strive but with this art-style from CvS2 for Street Foghter 6. Full on realism has never fit well with this series

Street Fighter looks way more appealing with 2D drawn sprites, especially with the silly proportions all the characters have. 😓 A Street Fighter with an Arcsys Guilty Gear style would be rad. https://t.co/XbdIO6wdED

I was afraid this was going to happen when Resident Evil and DMC got more realistic artstyles. Street Fighter with an Bengus's artstyle like how Arcsys does Guilty Gear would be amazing.

Forgot the season, but SSJ Goku Anchor was a demon with Beam assist. Had to gut his 2M for it.

People are honestly crazy if they think a specific season was better than another. ALL of them had bullshit. People just wont admit Arcsys can't balance lol
