day 14 is so here’s my Sun Wukong, Monkey King, hero of Chinese folklore (& throughout Asia) as well as the 16th century novel by Wu Cheng’en, ‘Journey to the West’. Here, this irrepressible character is helping himself to the Peaches of Immortality.

day 14. A commissioned piece illustrating an imagined scene from The Weirdstone of Brisingamen by Alan Garner. The client loved it and client now wants a second, depicting Grimnir.

Corgarff Castle in originally built in mid 1500s it has been abandoned and rebuilt several times.
With an unusual star shape form it stands in the it is well worth a visit
