Little Red Riding Hood is one of the classics which will never get old❤
I have lost count how many times this story has been read at bedtime. James is always intrigued how the wolf manages to swallow Grandma & Little Red Riding Hood whole - the magic of fairy tales!!

I wanna draw, but I spent most of today's waking hours trying to fix the broken washing machine... now I gotta do the actual work I was supposed to do today before bedtime.

Laurencin was a French Cubist painter, one of the few female ones. She believed that Picasso and Braque tended to make women look ugly and she wanted to restore a more feminine aesthetic, in which she succeeded.

The Somnambulist.
John Everett Millais.
Millais got the idea for a number of his paintings from opera, and this scene may have been inspired by Bellini's La Somnambula in which the heroine walks across a rickety bridge while sleep walking.
