I hesitate to differentiate my merfolk from humans with behaviors that "evolved" along a different path. I mean... they did, it's like comparing Pakicetus to Ambulocetus. But I've always been worried that if they ACT differently than us, it'll reinforce racist narratives/tropes.
@Lappy_syndrome H-Huh?!
You.. You mean.. It'll protect my neck by deterring... certain behaviors, right?
Ranger! Once known as Thornbush, he was born in Shadowclan with a neglectful mother and absent father. He had never felt at home within the clan and had many issues with making friends and being social. He was believed to have antisocial behaviors due to him not being able (1/?)
I built a dragon! I haven't decided if all of them are tubby or if this is a gravid female but I'm really in love with how this turned out. I imagine they have complicated social preening behaviors to keep mites and ticks outta their feathers #conceptart #dragon https://t.co/tUPekdcXJ5

Mia is a character who began as a minor side character, but grew into one of the main cast. She is essentially a half succubus, and just like with Opal, I wanted her to challenge stereotypes a reader might have about what that means. She foils some of Opal's behaviors too.

@gingko_trees these ADHD behaviors are getting too relatable, I'm scared
@SandraStraubArt This is my oc Wyatt, I jokingly call him my ADHD nightmare man but like legiterately he's just like a major comfort character of mine that I just kind of dump my harder-to-deal with ADHD experiences/behaviors into as like. a form of catharsis I guess? (1)

@icypika Awesome. So I nailed it. Even when Shiki and Eri take a pic together, Shiki's smile is more reserved and shy in the cellphone pic see? Or how Shiki hides her chest behind Mr. Mew? Those are more shy behaviors. She's not as outgoing as Eri
Such behaviors in the presence of children will be met with murderous intent.
@MaineMillennial Fox or coyote with mange. Difficult to determine without more footage, colors, or behaviors shown. Not classic Chupacabras, as they are bipedal.
although many female behaviors are due to a social construct ... actually the gender itself is not. women generate estrogens among other chemicals, which affect our way of being and thinking, it hurts whoever hurts. either to a greater or lesser extent.
