Sometimes you just want a good thriller. Luckily, @VincentAbnett writes very clever sci-fi thrillers underpinned by great dialogue and a lot of intrigue. The 2nd in the Gaunt’s Ghosts series uses standalone shorts to contextualise the unit’s early days. Well worth the read. 7/
Innocent Aces is a direct tie in to Mamoru Oshii's The Sky Crawlers (2008). I was blown away by how well the game recontextualizes the film's entire story. Both feel like perfect extensions of the other to the point that the experience is incomplete without both. Top tier stuff.
