I am heavily biased, but Ikeno’s character art for SSF4 onwards is my favorite of the series. The crosshatched sketch and ink aesthetic such a cool style I don’t see much of nowadays.

Another concept sketch preview. Left is from now (2021), right is from 2018. Not bad for two years!

I know I said I don't do shading on Red Sketch often, but on the old concept I dabbled in crosshatch shading when I first got my Microns. So I wanted to see how far I've come.

Very tired, I demand sleep and rest, but I can't yet! At least I still manage to sketch something every day.
Enjoy!

I had a lot of fun with the markings and the crosshatch on the line art! ✨
