they are Daiku (ghost wolf) and an unfortnate sheep. In the lore, it supose to be Daiku hounding and trying to posses the sheep. For some curse, Daiku is attached to the sheep. And daiku was like a big wolf genocide or smth, and wants to posses the sheep to do it again.

The benefits are great! Your CON gets boosted to 20, and you have resistance to cold damage and can breath underwater. The down side is that in 2d10 days, unless you remove curse, the item turns you into a fish man.
