I've been wanting to redraw this old Pumpkin Hill piece for a few years now! I think I've come a long way since I was 13~ Here's to another decade of Sonic fanart! 🍾

This was the only piece I could find from 2009. I used to draw with a mouse on a school demo of photoshop I carried on a flash drive on a public computer at a library.

I actually couldn't find anything from 2009 so this is really 2012 when I first got my tablet vs 2019 my latest commission. I remember being really proud of the way I shaded the hair and lips back then hahah~

I found nothing from 2009 but 2010:D it's so nice to see the progress. And since 2018 I keep drawing and practicing every single day, so thats why between 2017 and 2019 is such a big difference :).

Another 2008 vs. 2019- same character. I'd like to think I got better in some areas but a lot stayed the same. My 2020 goal ( 1 of them ) is to really set down an idea of the style i want to draw in and focus on completing those drawings.

For a few years after college I was suffering from some severe burnout when it came to my art, as a result I don't have any finished pieces that I can show from 2009, only this one I started then and finished in 2010.

I know I drew SOMETHING in 09' ,I just never posted any of it ANYWHERE. The girl on the left was an OC of mine back in 08. The girl on the right, I drew earlier this year. What a difference a decade makes! 15 year old me would be shocked!
