My thought is that for elves, ear wiggles when emoting is considered a childish habit. It's especially unacceptable (and dangerous) with drow, where keeping a poker face through all your schemes is key to your survival.

Here’s a fan fact about my Elf characters Midnight and Faeryl, I felt so inspired by Eso/skyrim I wanted two of my own characters based on that universe. Midnight is full dark drow, and Faeryl is half sun elf and drow.
