i initially wanted to do this redesign to make it a bit closer to his og design which has paned sleeves/breeches and the 3 spikes. but then half way through coloring, i realized, AJ's colors are also in there. so i leaned into each fists being based on their personality/traits

Awesome! =D It would seem my memory is a bit crap, she doesn't exactly have a MAIN weapon other than her fists. You see her with daggers, swords, bows, hair pins, & a Jiju stick (closest I'll ever get to a field hockey manga). But when Toma draws her with a weapon, it's that one.
