Poor Gyrus had the world against them. Tribal players couldn't reanimate thier coolest Hydras, and reanimator players didn't want to have so many restrictions. I still think this style of graveyard recursion is balanced and I like the design space, but it will never catch on.

I hold a high preference to wyverns simply because I like their silhouette better, though I won’t turn down a classic European dragon.

My other favorites are hydras, lung dragons and any kind of aquatic dragons or sea serpents.
