It's finally hitting the press, so I'd like to introduce Vectiraptor greeni! My first IOW dino paper!

Named after Mick Green who found the specimen in 2004, and as a thank you for his generosity and involvement in palaeontology over the years!

Dmitry Bogdanov & Nobu Tamura appreciation post. For a while most palaeoart on Wikipedia was by these guys. The sheer amount of illustrations they created for hundreds of taxa is incredible. My main inspirations (along with ) for becoming a contributor myself!

Artist appreciation post: If you're wondering where I get inspiration for my doodling and cartoon style, lots of it comes from 's palaeo critter sketches. The way they're stylised is so damn cute and full of life! Always brightens my day to see these on my feed. 💚✨

Retweet with a piece of palaeoart that was influential to you as a kid but you rarely see mentioned. When I was a Kid, the Tyrannosaurus from The Crocodiles Still Wait and Patrick's Dinosaurs really left an impact. Its just so striking to me in how it stands. https://t.co/vlgIpVvU87

Wow, palaeontology in Galar might finally be getting a revision! I heard some new fossil material has been discovered that implies Dracozolt is a chimaera of two distinct Pokémon species (hypothetical reconstructions on the right). Can't wait for more to be published! https://t.co/mj0Owg6oKQ
