😍 Incredible images by today's artist - ! 😍

Cerys, from Porthcawl, produces them by layering thousands of ink dots, inspired by her research into representations of manic-depressive illness.

Brilliant work, Cerys.

Full comm for RopeLucario on FA.

This is my first time actually applying soft shadows to a finished lineart. I normally work with hard shadows with a sort of pointillism at the border.

Luckily, the commissioner was very nice to let me experiment with their Lopunny.

Be gentle.

Actually 3 - tracking from pointillism to divisionism to Futurism. Love an ‘ism’ 🤓🤓 Don’t get me started on Russian Futurism!!

Brassica oleracea var italica
AKA - broccoli

(There is a reason I don’t do pointillism & broccoli has solidified it)

Francis Picabia was a French avant-garde painter & typographist. After experimenting w/ Impressionism & Pointillism, he moved into Cubism w/abstract colors & rich planar compositions. This work is over an older one, his FC is half hiding if you compare & tilt the painting.

Oh man started poking around around my derelict DA account and found some pretty nostalgic pieces of art. The 1 time I attempted pointillism in college, my Sailor Moon OC, and the main character in a SciFi version of Beauty and the Beast that I almost wrote.

I’m a traditional artist who loves pointillism and mixed media animal portraits!

Behold! A colorful hummingbird.

The style used is similar to that called "pointillism", though in this case it's not 100%.
