Yeah, Spaz has a tendency of using pre-existing official art for a series he is commissioned to do art for. Kind of like how a manga's artwork is redrawn and repurposed for its anime adaptation.
However, he's talented enough as an artist to do new and original art later on.

The cover artist is Lamar Wells and while I have no hate against the guy, I'm am against what he does every now and then...
