I truly love how @/MARLIYGABE draws their works. the use of shadow & color worked as a startle in the 1st img, I could feel the raw terror in the 2nd w the blunt strokes & stark contrast, I could feel the calm cold loneliness & alienation in the 3rd, & the intimidation of the 4th

Big fan of both you guys’ work and wandering into this convo late.

I’ve played with blurring…in my humble opinion it looks weird because it breaks the linework/brush strokes.

Depth of field can be done just as crearly via contrast and level of detail.

This digital watercolor painting of Saint Patrick by Pingonaut is captivating. His use of vibrant colors and expert brush strokes transport the viewer to a sacred space.

100 brushstrokes headshot for a certain kobl.

Generally happy with this one. It's got good shapes, varied edges, and the colors are functional.
I'd like to see what I can do with colors in the next one.

still struggle to use CSP, I do like all the cool features but the brush stroke is really stiff. I really miss sai's brush

Didn't work out like I wanted. I didn't plan this study out at all. Painted the sky without leaving the white of the canvas for the cloud, didn't give the gouache time to dry before adding new strokes. The values are off. Just a lot to learn from to do this better next time

Guys, I want to support a talented illustrator today
I love her color palette and the freedom of her paint strokes. It's amazing!!!

Yesterday Anfisa's ipad broke, I think you know how hard it is to be without a working tool, let's support her🌺🔥
