Bump but with trivia: the pattern of Nessie’s tartan scarf is very similar to the kilt I wore to my high school prom, I didn’t realise this until after I finished this drawing yesterday. That’s it, that’s the trivia.

Today we recognize and celebrate the contributions of the Scots and their descendants in Nova Scotia and Canada.

Tartan Day is marked on April 6 as it is the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath in 1320, the Scottish declaration of independence.
