I think Mega Man 4 is a better overall experience because no part of that frustrated me as much as one or two segments here but for the pre-Wily Fortress stuff, I really like it, enough to still be placed high in my Mega Man ranking
Alright, they got Dr Light in XDive as his cool Hadouken outfit thing in X1, pretty sweet, but-
I'd like to propose something, an idea for if they decided to give Wily a fighting game outfit to match Light, hahah
I have a VERY rough sketch of the character's design but I'm not gonna show it yet. Still very early.
However, I will say his inspiration will stem from these four: Professor Theo, Dr. Wily, Albert Russel (Trails in the Sky), and Mimic
I am not fond of Wily stages.
to put it better: I do not like how those stages treat weapon usage and how you can be VERY VERY screwed if you fuck up.

Here's some of the sillyness that went on with Wily Taunter. Basically I was nearly done when I realized he was supposed to be a digitigrade which was a huge problem. So there's a little doodle of how I might have liked to have fixed the problem.

Also also I love that Dr. Wily, after creating the maverick virus and indirectly starting two massive planet-destroying wars, gets reincarnated thousands of years later as a guy who just sells boats
@The_Galactabee Ironically, Wily wasn't the one that built the actual Skull Man (though it's implied that Cossack built him while he was being manipulated by him)

Little bit of fitting trivia though.
Wily grew his hair out because he was starting to resemble his dad and he did NOT like that.
The one loose strand of hair he leaves on purpose though, is something he took from Mahra.
Her heart might have skipped a beat when she realized it.
@HaleyJean_Tho Here's Carrie, an android created to be one of 8 powerful war machines, sorta like Dr. Wily's Robot Masters from Mega Man, though Carrie ended up turning good.
