En, a construct made to be a wizard's assistant but since they didn't need to sleep, kinda just... read themselves into sentience via philosophy books? Now they wanna go see the world and develop their own opinions and prove their personhood.

是水 - Be Water - 🌊🌊

"Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee

After watching "Be Water" last night (watch!), I wanted to create a piece which visually represented his wisdom & philosophy.

The symbol of Yin Yang philosophy traces back to primeval oceans (double-fish). It is in the core of Chinese life & culture. The circle represents a whole, while the halves depict mutually interdependent opposites or couples as a balanced whole. (like binary opposition?)

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s original watercolors for "The Little Prince" and the bittersweet true story behind the beloved children's book (which is really a masterwork of philosophy) https://t.co/I6MKcJ3XJk

Watched Waking Life yesterday, a great movie and it's technically a side watch to Richard Linklater's Before trilogy movies which I highly recommend - Waking Life is a story that investigates dream states, society and philosophy but not recommended for motion sickness sufferers.
