I had a couple of clients who wanted "Soleil" pretty much at the same time, so I sold that one to the first client and painted this one (flipped the reference) for the new client. It's kinda nice when my work is in demand!

no idea if this is helpful to anyone else, but this is how I build up curls. (they straightened his hair in reference photo I'm using so I did it with no reference) Random as hell red squiggles to provide a base shape makes it seem natural & it helps to avoid a pattern
