A truly complex and mesmerizing snake dance. The beauty of her lines, incredible body curves, shimmering scales. All eyes are directed only at her, she is ONE like that. Be careful, she came to win!

Slick project Jose, it's inspired me to undertake something similar...Mad Bull 34 upscales well enough from the Discotek DVD to finish it out in a v2.

The size is a double-page spread, and the paper has a texture that resembles the scales of a snake, instead of the gold-shining Kinrei paper.

Congrats on 100! You traditional art has a real pleasing style, particularly the excellently drawn dragons

Here's a kindly, snaky, slab of scales to hang out with the other furless folk in the thread (Art by @/tial_marubah)

I think this is how Amidra's shroud transform will look. Scales turn black with red tips, hair flies up and appears to glow, right arm becomes voidsent-like, clothes appear torn around transformed areas.

Redhorses are often studied as a group because the different species are *really* tough to tell apart, even for biologists. ID-ing them usually involves *lots* of counting of lateral scales + fin rays - the glamorous life of a fisheries biologist 📷:

Scales done; just before heading to work. Moot green dry brush gave nice subtle blend and highlights in one go. Enjoying this model a LOT. 😍
2 days of double shifts so crammed a bit this morning. 👍

Getting almost there. Half are faces/bases only now and the 1st dragon is getting a slow scaling color of sybarite green to darken the scales bit before last wash of thin warp lightning mix.

Reversing all the laws of the universe, he steps along the countless road of corpses from the universes destroyed by him and an army of unimaginable scales steps after him. Soon all of Lore will know absolute despair before the Emperor of the Void.

Excited for a quiet interlude episode for my time boy, Auric Solaris, for the season finale of this season of The Scales Above on !

We've been through a lot and he finally gets to have a break while at sea to experiment on some magic 🧙

For day 17 of my I’ve gone with some of the Jaws from my upcoming book Deadly & Dangerous.

It was fun having a go at drawing what lies under the fur & feathers, skin & scales for a change.

Bonus points if you can name the species.

Aceranguis are foul-tempered snakes from Chroma that are covered in spikes and glittering scales. Their venom is corrosive and acidic, melting muscle and organ tissue directly instead of just killing cells.

They're also known to spray their venom and actively chase threats.
