It really depends on the image, but I usually approach the AI with an idea of what I want the end result to be before I even fire up the programs. Just to add ERASURE on the otherhand does have a secret hobby of designwork with his crystals
He's able to summon and manipulate them so whenever he has time he'll often make his own designs for random things
Partly to test himself but usually just to pass the time
