M’hilo of course has his own facial markings as a miqo’te. There is a “shadow marking” that appears on his chest/ left side and it usually appears when he gets enough power in battle, but high stress/ emotion can also make it appear, and for longer. Based on the monk tattoo.
Just read through Unnamed Memory Vol 1. This is pretty good! Usually I'm not into straight-up fantasy, but this novel built up the world with just the right amount of intrigue, while also fleshing out the lively cast of characters! Oscar and Tinasha have great chemistry
