I’m just thinking about how much I love MXTX’s novels. I’ve been reading a lot of fics and rereading chapters from all them recently and wow...they’re all so wonderful and different. Great characters, arcs, and world building? Damn. Changed my life.

We've recommended the first volume before and much like the podcast, the second arc feels a lot more confident in its execution and the ability to go back has allowed them to pepper the past with foreshadowing and characters arcs that weren't present so early in the podcast.

A decent episode but it’s all about tying arcs together without any particular actually episodic plot. I appreciate that they acknowledge the Hitler-shaped elephant in the room with time travel, it just doesn’t stand up as a story outside of its series.

One of my favorite things about binging the gintama manga is I can never tell when I am going into one of those longer more serious arcs. So I tell myself "just one more chapter" before I get thrown into a story I can't put down untill it's resolved. Never been so owned.
