Read that his was a GBA launch title, it shows. Has all the bells and whistles of SOTN, but being restricted to the whip and the underwhelming nature of the card system makes this one the weak link in the Advanced Collection.
Re-watching Castlevania on Netflix (once again) and got to the scene where Isaac speaks with the night creature he created. Out of so many wonderful scenes in that show (many of them with Isaac) this one is SO GOOD that it sends shivers down my damn spine.
