But teachers dont say that. They just say 'anime bad' without explaining how even in Japan's manga and anime industry they take influences from a wide world view while lots of American kids growing up who draw anime, narrow their art view to a narrow scope of anime tropes.

So a question I get a lot are who are my influences — and I have lots but a big one for me is and his Vibe webcomic, his pages are filled with color and vibrance - he’s def a driving factor in my development! I miss his work but want him to know he’s def inspired me!

Thinkin bout moodboards for OC's... this one's Ellie's!

Misty, Jupiter, and Shadowcat were huge influences for her personality when I initially made her. Pearl's on here because she has... INCREDIBLY STRONG Ellie vibes.

For those of you who don’t know me personally, these are my heroes and influences on my humor and general cynicism and sarcasm and my general distaste for humanity. I will laugh every time you trip. I am happiest when I’m rolling my eyes. Nuff said.

From some of the recent scenes I've drawn for The God Machine. Starting to animate some of the scenes set in the underground mines, crossing personal influences from Kōbō Abe's "Pitfall" (1962) with the deadpan absurdity of Evgeny Yufit's necrorealist movement films.

Thanks for the opportunity. Howdy, my names gamebear and I’m new to Instagram. My biggest influences are probably psychonauts, tpoh and smile for me. I like character design a bunch (that’s mostly what I do) and as of late I’ve been experimenting with shape language.

Thank you for the tag, Jay! Hi, I'm Olivia and I'm an illustrator. I primarily do OC work that has a lot of horror and music history influences.

this seems like fun (we're not far enough in yet for a fair few of these influences to be immediately apparent) https://t.co/nM35AbWhn6

I am doing, & thoroughly enjoying discovering new genres that influenced my peers too thanks! Been jamming FH for 2 months now🥰

It's almost as if Future Funk can be a great gateway to widen influences & tastes if you don't take its laziest artists at face value. Funny, that🤔

Looking back at my first shot of turning Juriel into a Magical Girl for roleplay, Yuki Yuna from and Hibiki Tachibana from served as big influences for me to give her the "big punchy magical girl" art direction.

Filled out this meme for my Whispers of the Past... My influences are weird and make very little sense to anyone other than myself ^^; https://t.co/O1OjmTInAt

For myself, I’m Dani. I sketched on and off throughout my 32 years of life but really got into art last year.

I draw a lot of Halo, but also tend to toss in lots of fan art from stuff I’m watching, like She Ra. Major influences are Sui Ishida and combat sketch artists

This was actually harder to come up with than I thought... I'm working with a lot more subtle and subconscious influences than I realized before I tried to find images to represent them. Also yes, one section IS just , because it wouldn't exist without her! https://t.co/rMNxqQOpwt

In a shocking twist of events, absolutely nobody is surprised that these are all influences on Blood Sugar https://t.co/EWGifInhV7
