my advice to anyone who wants to get into making sentient/living vehicle stuff is to make your vehicles as expressive as possible. take advantage of what they have to them and use their features to express their sentiency and character. it really does make your stuff shine

One thing that still bothers me about Halo 5's campaign is that the whole AI aren't sentient thing just feels kind of forced. Whether it be talking over poor Roland on the Infinity or Osiris's dialogue relating to Warden or Cortana being simply "robots"
