I can't tell if it's a coincidence or if Nomura planed this,but are very similar the more I think about it.
Even their designs are very similar (white dress,light coloured hairs) .

More Elmo and . I thought he looked weird in the last picture so I tried a whole character design thing, then he became a weird slacker cat character then I just imagined him as a sitcom duo with Paige. I overthink my fanart, it's why I don't do it too often.
