Why is Pit trans, you ask? What is the mentality and motivation behind these design choices? Well, we all know how much Pit really cares for and looks up to his goddess, Palutena. It would make sense that she inspired femininity and Pit wanting to be like her while serving her.

In 2008, Pit got a total redesign for an appearance in Super Smash Bros Brawl. This design is also used for a lead appearance in Kid Icarus: Uprising in 2012, and has been used as the main design for Pit even today. There are two things of note here.

Back to my point. On the flipside, depictions of female Cupid are much different from male Cupid. The chiton completely covers the chest and both shoulders, same as Pit did. This point is exclusive to Cupid, since males can wear it both ways, as I’ve said before.
