I happened to doodle a picture of smolder that I thought looked really cute, and reminded me of the sort of shot a tv show might have when a character is looking at their crush.

Here’s an example from both ends. Again, CN is not perfect, but at least they make some sort of effort into creating a design from scratch MOST of the time. Nick just takes the easy way out. Sad, but unsurprising given their severe creative drought/nostalgia pandering
