Randolph Caldecott was a Victorian childrens' illustrator. His works can be seen at The Grosvenor museum Chester. These are part of a set of his works which adorned the bathroom which I grew up in, as antique tiles

- I suppose what got me into him was his chats? The places he'd suggest are just up my alley (art shows, museums) and he would have this sort of endearing dorkiness over his interests. Like the time he was so into being detective.
