Posting a wip of the not forgotten christmas art work from November. Update: I have resumed drawing - abet very shakily - so progress is slow. (Very frustrated and upsetting but happens I guess) C/oM work will resume later this week now that im not dying.
After weeks of trial and error to finetune my style using various techniques, datasets, and prompts, trying dozens of datasets / prompts, hundreds of settings and generated thousands of samples, I'm pleased with the results!

So, something I've been trying to work on is finding a way to better express my art. My preferred medium is mixed media, and finding a way to transform that into digital media has been difficult. I've been playing around with Procreate and trying different brush settings.
I am now starting my Ember Phase of being a Sunbeam Dragon, 7th born of the Sun. Since its cold I picked something that felt right to fit the setting. Minus being in underwear lol. New color/hair look until Spring.
Still setting up a sort of “texture palette” to eventually glaze, scumble and paint over. The final palette will be much cooler, but I like having bits of heat pop through. Should be fun… if I don’t F it up 😳

I paint my shadows very lightly, I generally lower the opacity of the layer to have something softer. Once you are done, add a new layer on top the other one. Same settings except for the opacity. Draw more dark shadows to add depth. I usually do this thrice.
I would not call my fantasy setting utopian by any means. but one thing that makes them MORE utopian than us is they have many sizes of rat, including Very Bigbig.
