i’ve seen a lot of ppl saying it’s bc of a japanese shogun pun you can make from Typhlosion’s name and the use of gunpowder in the era, but i also think it’s just the Design fits

there’s a specific type of worn fur collar i think of that fits but i can’t find better examples 😭

It's funny, I've never picked a grass type starter, but I think this time around I would go with rowlet, because I like decidueye even though the Final Fantasy VIII fan in me loves typhlosion because of this gijinka.
