Spongebob was a core piece of my childhood. I hoarded as much memorabilia I could get my hands on, and one of the first drawings I ever made that I still have was of the characters. (1/3)

The new reboot decided that disrespecting everything the old show stood for was a good decision, but nope. The Powerpuff girls were a big part of my childhood. Buttercup's leg is driving me crazy right now but I can't be bothered to fix it.

was literally my childhood. I'm today years old and I STILL watch this cartoon when it's on. Thank you and RIP Mr. Hillenburg. My small tribute for a legendary series.

Stephen Hillenburg, you have created an amazing show of my childhood. Without you I wouldn't have found such an amazing cartoon that made me laugh so hard. Although you're no longer with us, your best creation, which is my favorite cartoon on Nick, will forever be a masterpiece

This look back to the nostalgic Victorian drawings of who, though childless, captured the joy and serenity that should be a part of every childhood. This is an example from The Kate Greenaway Baby Book: https://t.co/wpve9wybBQ
