Just because a show is on a network whose target demographic is children, doesn't mean teens and adults can't watch and enjoy it.
In fact, many of the most well-written, thought-provoking shows (whether they be funny or heartbreaking) I've ever seen on TV were animated.
ANIMATION IS FOR EVERYONE
The art of animation isn't a genre. No, like all forms of art (i.e. fine arts, cinema, photography, writing, etc.), it is a tool for telling stories, for sharing experiences. It's a creative medium that transcends genre and demographic.
Animation is for everyone. This is obvious to anyone who has ever enjoyed a cartoon show or an animated movie.
Good stories are good, regardless of who the target demographic is. Animation can be a vehicle for imagination.
I say...embrace it all.

Animation shouldn't be considered a kids thing, Its a Visual Medium that can express the vibrant imagination of a Creator, In ways that could never be done in Live Action and can be viewed by any demographic.
But hey, who cares if you aren’t in the target demographic, that doesn’t mean that you can’t watch anything for kids. Here are some good looking shows and movies I recommend to you to watch

Always show your love for the cartoons you hold dear to you and the cartoons that make you happy, because you know one day it'll find an audience.

A Pair of Cuckoos ranked 12th in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi!'s 2021 Ranking - Male Demographic. Is the only Shonen Magazine manga in the top-20.
🥉'Bara wa Shuraba de Umareru' de Nami Sasou (Matogrosso, East Press). Nos choca mucho ver este manga autobiográfico en la lista, la verdad. Sasou trabajó de asistente de varias mangaka en los años 70 y vivió el boom de la demografía muy de cerca.
mograg galleryで開催中の友沢こたおさんの個展『Pomme d’amour』へ。
初個展にもかかわらず、全作品が初日”SOLD OUT”。作品も生で観ると、油絵の質感と陰影の付け方がとても丁寧に描かれていることがわかる。
まだ東京藝大在籍中で今後が楽しみな作家さんの一人です。個展オススメ！
