References, stock photos, your own photos, and things like are immensely helpful to set things up, and mean you aren’t tracing other people’s art. c.c

I support using references, doing industry standard smarter not harder techniques (trying to learn photobashing), etc. I might try tracing my own ref soon, but I have an ego problem and like to do the flip canvas a ton thing

These are a lil old, but at least the screenshot refs I use for my artwork. Theres a BIG difference between using screenshot as a guide vs directly tracing off of it.
