You know, I was thinking about how there are a lot of different guns and stuff that i've obsessed over or fantasized about owning, and yet I could not say that about any kind of vehicle whatsoever. I can name scores of guns i'd suck dick for, but not a single vehicle of any type.

when you draw a human a bit "off model" from different angle, it won't be easily noticeable
however when you draw a mecha/vehicle a bit off, it looks really glaring/asymmetrical, even more when it's not an inbetween animation, but a still image
when it comes to drawing mecha/vehicle/etc, it's more "easier" to reduce it to basic shapes and ditch the details for later...
but it's easier to say than done
when you draw something incorrectly, it won't be much noticeable on human, but it's glaring on still mecha drawing

First time using 3D (SketchUp) for a job, 2nd scifi game, and 1st to really flesh out a vehicle concept. I’d sketched vehicles before and a tank or two, but knew almost nothing about what makes a tank a tank. These sketches are an attempt to learn on the job (books help!)
