"The discovery" + A shocked friend

I like how these turned out. Simlple yet effective to tell the story and just enough to be able to add more to Adeleine and The Company's first encounter in the future.

Hope you enjoyed Episode 2! :]

The character I’m most defensive of is Madeleine, but second is Colby!!

His good intentions and youth don’t outweigh the wrongness of his actions, but I was really startled by how vehemently readers reacted to him blocking Lucy’s number!!

Originally, Graham was supposed to make banh xeo (a Vietnamese dish to represent how Madeleine is on his side)—but while researching I found that Shokugeki no Soma had done it, and after being told the rose apple tart was also in SnS, I didn’t want to overlap again

Bc Madeleine was received so poorly in her own arc, I was kind of worried about bringing her back

So I was really happy that people were excited to see her!!

I kind of wanted her to be a heel, but bc of time restraints, we didn’t actually she her much at all...

Lucy’s hair length in the Madeleine-Sherry arc is my favorite, so when I realized I had to make it longer in the holiday arc to show the progression of time, I was VERY SAD

I like her semi-bob!!!

I should have shown more of Madeleine reciprocating Sherry’s feelings, upon rereading, I think too much of it was just implied!
