So I finally got around to reading vol 1 of Rust Eater Bisco - and it's the best light novel debut I've seen in quite a while. Strong worldbuilding, action, fun characters and some surprisingly great queer rep
@shareocs When I was younger around 2009-2010, by biggest inspiration for this guy was the spectacular spider-man cartoon and, surprisingly, wordgirl. Now the MCU, My Hero Academia and Invincible are some of my biggest influences. I guess he was created out of love for superheroes media

Random Pat fact: I was reminiscing with @chattykinson about books we had read as kids. And I remembered this one. The illustration style had a big impact on me and pushed me more into becoming my type of creative. I surprisingly don’t have a copy of my own yet.

@dualomniblades Here’s Nox, he’s my sorcerer. He’s very bookish and surprisingly graceful, but terribly awkward when put in social situations. He is very sweet to his friends, but comes across as stiff to others.
