My Obey Me Mermay 🥺

That progress tho! We love to see it.

I've never done Mermay before, because I wasn't drawing before. I stopped for many years and more recently picked it back up again.

Practise + hyperfixation = happy me

lmao these are from exactly a year apart. I can shade now. Also we went from ATLA/Zuko hyperfixation to Haikyuu/Ushiten hyperfixation.

Hi! My name is Samii and this is my Meet the Artist! I'm just a shark who thrives on their hyperfixations. Loud, hyper but I promise I don't bite (much).

A few months ago I kinda got Pixies/Faries/Fae as a Special Interest/HyperFixation. Mantis here is a pixie, which are more beastly and dark than their fairy counterparts. They're also a more subservient race.

i can't even call it symbolism because it is RIGHT THERE. look at these pictures as long as you need, and think twice before you praise the plot and the worldbuilding.
you can't brush it off by saying aot is your hyperfixation. again, you can be attached to it, because so am I >>
