I'm almost done with an online course I bought a while ago to revisit some fundamentals and get more comfortable with art that is a little more realistic looking.

I think the pose and stuff is pretty good, but the general shapes are kinda strange looking. For character design I could suggest you try something like this for a strategy? Working with silhouettes is usually a good idea, for me at least
